NEW TWO LEVEL HOUSE WITH SWIMMING TANK
Our company undertook the study, the design and construction of a luxury two-storey house with a basement, above ground parking and swimming pool, in the area of Patras.
The study was carried out based on the relief of the natural soil, where taking advantage of its steep slope, and for the functionality of the uncovered space, levels are created in five (5) different levels, while the house is shaped into 2 flat, with part of the building volume growing in caves.
The building was placed free on the plot for the best use of sunlight, as well, the large glazing in relation to the daily spaces make the contact of the house with the external configuration more intense, giving the feeling that space is leaking between the two.
At the ground floor level of the building, a swimming pool with an underground engine room will be constructed, "Touching" the limit (wall) of the level, giving the feeling of overflow, not making the territorial boundary visible.
Furthermore, the parking lot shed is chosen to be placed at the lower end of the plot, so that there is a split of the volumes between the two structures so that perimeter of it, to have planting, thus creating a relaxing environment, easily accessible by users.
Impressive in volume, with strict design, classic style and sparing decoration, adapted to modern architecture, this private residence, hovering between its urban character and the aesthetic approach of a luxury villa, offering different experiences to its owners.
The building, in terms of the relationship and composition of its volume, its faces and generally visible parts, meets the aesthetic requirements, both as a single building, as well as in relation to the iconography of the wider area and is harmoniously integrated in its residential environment, ensuring at the same time, upgraded living conditions.
The central core of the building is its highest volume, which develops in front of the stairwell, from which smaller volumes appear to project.
By creating large volumes, both inside, as well as outside the residence, the creation of spaces of different scale and use is achieved, as well as the visual integration between the floors.
The design of the building seeks the perfect harmony with the natural environment and achieves its integration into the landscape with the least possible intervention.
So in order, the building to be integrated in the best possible way in the terrain, the entrance to the house is chosen to be from the first floor, so that from the side of the facade is the ground floor space, while from the back there should be two floors.
The interior is designed with simple and clean lines. The alternation of materials also marks the change of uses, which are completely distinct. The house is dominated by white, while emphasizing the huge surface of the fireplace with the use of marble.
The organization of private and everyday spaces, evolving around a core of vertical motion, the ladder, which is a very important part of the home, as it occupies the central position in the floor plan of the building, resulting in all the spaces evolving around it, as well as gives the result of the aesthetic connection of the floors.
